Next Generation Roto Resins

Aardvark Polymers is pleased to introduce their portfolio of engineering and high performance materials for rotational molding applications. Next Generation Roto Resins have been designed to permit rotational molders entry into demanding markets where their participation has been previously limited by the properties of available materials.

Product brochures, with processing guidelines, material data sheets, and chemical resistance information is available for download in PDF format at the bottom of this page.

 Aartel Acetals POM

Polyoxymethylene, POM, commonly referred to as acetal or polyacetal, is an engineering polymer with a unique set of mechanical and thermal properties complimented by excellent chemical reistance properties. Acetals offer over 50 years of historic market acceptance and offer a broad range of agency applrovals.

Available in a wide variety of formulations; general purpose, impact modified, antimicrobial, UV modified, and ESD enhanced; Aartel Acetals offer the rotational molder the opportunity to compete for applications that require higher heat capacities, improved strength to weight ratios, increased resistance to aggressive chemicals, lower permeation ratios, exacting dimensional stability, and excellent scratch and wear resistance.

Aartel Acetals may be processed with conventioanl tooling and equipment and generally do not require drying prior to molding. Aartel Acetals are available in natural white and may be dry colored to suit. They are processor friendly and moderately priced.

Aardalloy TPA (thermoplastic alloys)

Aardalloy products are custom formulated thermoplastic alloys designed for your most demanding rotomolding applications.  Aardalloy materials begin with the finest engineering base materials available. These base materials, usually engineering grades of acetals, nylons, and polyesters, are compounded with other engineering and high performance polymers to form thermoplastic alloys with enhanced properties targeted at your specific application.

Aardalloy Thermoplastic Alloys are employed to raise impact levels, increase strength to weight ratios, reduce friction and wear, increase continuous service temperatures, extend high temperature durations, lower/increase specific gravities, improve ductility, resist aggressive environments, and improve dimensional stability.

Aarlon Nylons

Aardvark Polymers is building a family of nylon products to serve a wide variety of engineered rotational molding applications.

Our current offerings of  type 6 and type 6/6 formulations have been designed to provide optimum properties for both specialty and general purpose applications. Aarlon nylons are made from prime monomers and polymers provided by the world’s leading manufacturers.

Aarlon nylons are heat stabilized, nucleated natural nylons made without heavy metals, phosphorous, or halogens.Aarlon PA6 formulations are FDA approved for food contact applications and Aarlon PA66 formulations offer exceptional flamability ratings in both natrural and FR formulations. Aarlon PA66 materials offer the highest heat capacities of any roto resins available on a commercial basis.

Aarlon nylons are available in natural and may be dry colored to suit.
